Another wonderful family that is fundraising - visit them at Fundraising for Teddy. They have a variety of fundraisers to bring their little guy home. (The bows and baby dolls are ones they'd REALLY like to sell as they had to purchase those "up front".) Their family blog is Gathered Angels.

I know, this is really pushing it, as we are a ways from Christmas, but we have a wonderful opportunity to be in on an adoption fundraiser and I wanted to post about it. I think these ornaments are beautiful and Christine is an adoptive mother and has a heart to help adoptive families. SO- if you like these as much as I do and want to order one or a whole set - she said to order soon - they sell quickly and they do come all the way from China! Oh, and if you want the proceeds to help our family - just add "Bilby Family" somehwere in your email - then she gives the proceeds to us. (If you don't care who the proceeds go to, you don't need to add anything and she just divides it evenly. ) We are so grateful to people like this that are willing to help adoptive families! What a great idea - this family is sewing prayer pillows to bring home a special needs child from Russia. Alie says, "We are going to have quite a supply on hand but we are able to make them per special order too, for example, in specific colors. The idea is that you place a paper with someone's name or prayer written on it inside the pocket on the pillow and at night you use it as a reminder to include them in your prayers." Go check out their blog to learn more or place an order. Bringing Home Blue Eyes
