Ok - this post I know FIRST HAND. Our friend, Kari, is sewing to raise money for their upcoming adoption. I asked her if she had any "Olivia" fabric - since we LOVE Olivia books - she found some and look what she made. Prayer Pillows

What a great idea - this family is sewing prayer pillows to bring home a special needs child from Russia. Alie says, "We are going to have quite a supply on hand but we are able to make them per special order too, for example, in specific colors. The idea is that you place a paper with someone's name or prayer written on it inside the pocket on the pillow and at night you use it as a reminder to include them in your prayers." Raffle for a VACATION!!

We are holding a vacation raffle to win a $500 voucher towards your next vacation, to help us raise money towards our adoption of Chynna...

How does it work you ask, well....

Vacation Raffle Details: All funds raised from this raffle will be used to help 4 families with their adoption from China.

Cost: 1 ticket for 10.00 or 3 for 25.00

Prize: Attached to the ticket is a card for a travel website AMG Vacations . The winner of the raffle can use the 500.00 travel voucher towards a booking of their choice from the travel agents site. For example, if you book a cruise that costs 700.00 for your whole family you would only pay the difference of 200.00. If it only costs you $500 then it will be free! This can be a cruise, airline tickets, hotel bookings…..your choice!
