Would LOVE to do a Fundraiser for YOU!!

I sell Scentsy - I started it because I LOVE the product, but I also wanted a way to give back to others after all that was given to us to help us adopt. SO - if you are interested - I would be willing to hold an online fundraiser for your adoption - give you my proceeds 20% of sales - toward your adoption. We can also discuss a "Warmer Raffle" to help boost sales as well.
Just visit my website and click on "Email Me" to learn more. I have a heart for adoption and love to give back to others after our two international adoptions!!

100 Good Wishes

What a great idea - "this is a FREE web resource for which adoptive families can use to not only share their adoption journey and gather good wishes from loved ones, but also as a tool to raise financial support, helping to bring our sweet children home." I love the whole concept - start a page (once you have an approved homestudy), get friends and family to visit and leave messages for your family, upload their picture, and give a monetary dontation to your family. Love it!!!

Jada Fund

I try not to post for myself very often, but since I have people asking, I thought I would let you know how you can give to help our family with this, our second, adoption. So I will post some different ways you can help give money toward our adoption. What always amazes me is that God takes care of everything! And Jada Makes 7 (Previously And Chloe Makes 6
1) You can give to the piggy bank in the sidebar And Jada Makes 7 - this goes through Paypal.
2) You can sign up for a blog makeover at Busy Mama Blog Design.
3) You can order from Amazon.com by clicking on ANY of our links at the bottom of our blog - you don't even have to order THAT item, but any order placed by clicking in through our blog - gives a small portion to our family account.
4) You can mail a check to our church and give through them - that would give you a tax deductible statement. If you choose this route here's the address:
New Hope Evangelical Free Church
Attn: Lisa Leusink
718 Florida Ave. SW
Orange City, IA 51041
IN THE MEMO LINE: put "Adoption for Bilby's" and it will 100% get to us and you will get a tax-deductible statement as well.
5) Any Creative Memories orders placed through my site also give a portion back to us - so that is good too!! (Traditional Scrapbooking or Digital Supplies - either counts!!)
6)Lastly, I am starting another blog - this one is called Chloe's Closet - I am selling all of Chloe's out-grown clothes that I was saving for Jada and now know won't fit her! I am also accepting DONATIONS of items to giveaway on this site as well - some designers have sent me brand new items to list on there - and that helps us too!

WONDERFUL SITE!!

This family is such a blessing to adoptive families - having been one themselves. They have set up this AMAZING site that has beautiful items for gift giving or just for yourself!! I bought the ornaments from them and LOVE them - but I am finding lots of other items I wish I had bought in China, but didn't!!! So go check it out - AND, if you don't have a family you wish to support on the site, you may surely put our names in when you purchase (Bilby's) - if you specify a family, a portion of the proceeds go to that family.

Let's Bring this Little One Home!!!

Another wonderful family that is fundraising - visit them at Fundraising for Teddy. They have a variety of fundraisers to bring their little guy home. (The bows and baby dolls are ones they'd REALLY like to sell as they had to purchase those "up front".) Their family blog is Gathered Angels.

Thinking Christmas??

I know, this is really pushing it, as we are a ways from Christmas, but we have a wonderful opportunity to be in on an adoption fundraiser and I wanted to post about it. I think these ornaments are beautiful and Christine is an adoptive mother and has a heart to help adoptive families. SO- if you like these as much as I do and want to order one or a whole set - she said to order soon - they sell quickly and they do come all the way from China! Oh, and if you want the proceeds to help our family - just add "Bilby Family" somehwere in your email - then she gives the proceeds to us. (If you don't care who the proceeds go to, you don't need to add anything and she just divides it evenly. ) We are so grateful to people like this that are willing to help adoptive families! Fundraiser Idea

Angie has a generous offer for those of you that are looking for a fundraiser - she lists some details below and how to contact her directly:

I would like to offer this to anyone that is adopting. My name is Angie and they can view my website at www.loveforadoption.com or email me directly at angel@wyan.org. What I would do is send the family a flyer to pass around to friends and family and also it can be emailed or posted on blogs. The flyer would direct everyone to a special site set up for only fundraisers. Whenever someone makes a purchase, I will donate 25% of the sale to the adoptive family. The donation would come in the form of a check from me around the 20th of the following month. Shaklee pays me around the 18th. I would love to be able to help others on their journey! We are hoping to start the process again in a few years.

Shades of Us - Fundraising Company

I got this as an email and wanted to share:

My name Sarah Hirengen. I am the Executive Director of an organization called Shades of Us. We help adoptive families raise funds to pay for some of the financial burdens that come with adoption. We do this by offering three kinds of fundraising options specifically tailored to adoptive families. These fundraisers are convenient, easy to set up, and have worked well for our families in the past. I was wondering if you would allow me to make your members aware that we are out there to help. Please take a look at our website at http://www.shadesofus.org/. I would be more than happy to answer any questions. I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
